Frequently asked questions

Learn more about our ladies' diamond wedding rings, where thoughtful design meets meticulous craftsmanship.

Can wedding rings have diamonds?

Yes, wedding rings can certainly have diamonds. They are commonly set halfway around the band, but can also be arranged to cover as much of the band as desired. There are various setting styles available, including micro, milgrain, claw, and roman settings, each offering a unique way to highlight the diamonds. While round-cut diamonds are the most popular, other shapes are also available to suit your style.

Why are diamonds used for wedding rings?

Diamonds are often chosen for wedding rings because of their timeless beauty and brilliance. Their natural sparkle complements a variety of ring styles, making them a popular choice. Diamonds are also highly durable, allowing them to be worn every day. Furthermore, their exceptional qualities add sophistication, making the ring truly stand out.

When did diamonds become popular for wedding rings?

Diamonds became increasingly popular for wedding rings from the early 2000s and have continued to grow in popularity ever since. Their natural beauty, durability, and timeless appeal made them a sought-after choice, symbolising lasting love and commitment in wedding jewellery.

How much do diamond wedding rings cost?

The cost of a diamond wedding ring can vary depending on factors such as the choice of precious metal, the shape of the diamonds, the total carat weight, the size of each individual diamond, and how the stones are set. Our diamond wedding rings are all handcrafted, with each stone set under powerful microscopes to ensure precision and security. This meticulous setting process enhances the security of the stones, offering a higher level of craftsmanship compared to mass-produced rings, resulting in greater value and long-lasting quality over time.

How to clean a diamond wedding ring?

To clean your diamond wedding ring, we recommend taking advantage of our ultrasonic cleaning service, included with your purchase, for optimal results. For at-home care, mix warm water with a few drops of washing-up liquid and gently scrub the diamonds with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry. This method works well for platinum and gold diamond wedding rings. Keep in mind that the metal will begin to show signs of scratching over time with regular wear. While we can arrange a professional polish, we suggest limiting this to every few years, as polishing removes some of the metal from your ring.

Do you offer both natural and lab grown diamond wedding rings?

We exclusively work with natural diamonds for our wedding rings and do not offer lab-grown options. While we understand that the choice between natural and lab-grown stones is personal, we believe that the narrative surrounding lab-grown diamonds often lacks transparency. Our diamonds are sourced through the Kimberley Process and the System of Warranties, promoting conflict-free origins. Additionally, many of our suppliers are accredited members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), which upholds high standards of quality and ethical practices.
