André's journey began at nine years old, sweeping the floor of his father's jewellery workshop for his weekly pocket money.

After leaving school, he'd go on to specialise in the discipline of jewellery design, collaborating with some of the UK's most talented goldsmiths and gemmologists to craft unique pieces, blending traditional elegance with contemporary flair.

Following the successful launch of the Hatton Garden store in 1995, he later introduced his son, Dan, to the business.

From a young age, Dan was taught polishing techniques by his father using an old electric mop that had lain dormant in the family garage for a number of years.

Over dinner, conversations inevitably revolved around the latest commissions his father had just taken on, and the ongoing evolution of their expanding jewellery collection.

Dan would later go on to join the family business in 2015, where he has focused heavily on the company's diamond sourcing practices as well as bespoke client projects. He has trained with the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).
