Frequently asked questions
Learn more about our single stone necklaces, where thoughtful design meets meticulous craftsmanship.
What are single stone necklaces?
Single stone necklaces or pendants feature a single diamond as the centrepiece. Often set in a claw or rubover setting, they highlight the diamond’s beauty with a minimalist and elegant design. These pieces are timeless and versatile, perfect for everyday wear or as an accessory for special occasions. At Rennie & Co, our single stone necklaces and pendants are crafted using high quality diamonds and precious metals such as 18ct gold or platinum.
What is the average cost of single stone necklaces?
The price of single stone necklaces depends on several factors, including the choice of precious metal, the design, the carat weight, and the quality of the diamond. We offer options across various price ranges, ensuring there’s something to suit different budgets.
What is your return policy for single stone necklaces?
Please view our Returns Policy for full details. If you have any questions or need further assistance, we'd be delighted to help at diamonds@rennieco.com or on 020 7405 4585.
How do I determine the right length for a single stone necklace?
To determine the right length for a single stone necklace, it’s important to consider both personal style and how you want the pendant to sit. The most popular length for women's necklaces is 16 inches, which typically rests just above the collarbone and suits most necklines. For a slightly more dramatic look, 18 inches is a versatile choice, resting at the collarbone or just below. Ultimately, the right length depends on your style preferences and how you envision the necklace complementing your wardrobe.
Do you offer both natural and lab grown (synthetic) diamond pendants?
We work exclusively with natural diamonds and have chosen not to offer lab-grown options. While we respect that the choice between natural and lab-grown stones is personal, we feel the narrative around lab-grown diamonds isn’t always fully transparent. We source our diamonds through the Kimberley Process and the System of Warranties, promoting conflict-free origins. In addition, many of our suppliers are accredited members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), ensuring high standards of quality and responsible practices.
